Your task is to develop a communications plan to promote a city/town of your choice as a tourist destination. Your plan should follow a marketing plan but you are only required to focus on the promotional part of the marketing mix. You do not have to provide a budget but make sure that whatever strategies you suggest are suitable for the likely budget.
The plan should include an Executive Summary, Background Information, Communication Objectives, STP information, Detailed communication strategies, Monitoring and control, Operational considerations. Your plan must not exceed 2500 words and should include references to academic sources. At least 10 references are required.
