Prototype Design + Prototype Performance + Trigger Drawing

Prototype Design
Using the results of the analytical analysis, refine the conceptual design into a working model. Present the design as it will be built. This will include dimensioned sketches and a description of materials needed to construct the device.

Prototype Performance
Experimental Methods
Describe the experimental procedure you used to obtain performance data on the prototype. Discuss sources of uncertainty and uncertainty estimates. Follow the general guidelines for a laboratory report although the analytical method, experimental method, and results are the main sections to include in a final report.

RESULTS

Present results for any tests conducted on the prototype. Include an explanation as to how the results were calculated. Summarize results in graphical or tabular form. At a minimum, you should include…

(1)the efficiency coefficient for the thrower,
(2)a comparison of actual distances thrown at various cylinder pressures with theoretical predictions,
(3)a comparison of the number of throws with theoretical predictions,
(4)photographs of the completed thrower showing different views.
