As a project team you are required to do the following: 1) Produce a project plan for a project that you, as a team, are familiar with. It must be a real project and it can be at any stage of development. The project plan should cover from time now to completion or to the end of December 2014, whichever is soonest. You must be able to establish specific goals in terms of cost, quality, and time. It must have a requirement for different project resources, including people. It is important to balance the selection of a project with sufficient complexity and size to clearly demonstrate the team’s understanding of and ability to apply project management concepts, models, tool and techniques. (Weight 70% of available marks) 2) Present your plan to the class. You are planning the project from the perspective of the project manager and you should assume that you are looking to gain approval to implement this project plan. In order to get this approval you should assume that you are making your presentation to the project board. (Weight 30% of available marks). Important Note: The content of the project plan must be underpinned with a critical review of the most recent project management literature sources.
