Managing the value Chain

I need a help with two question about a 100 words each will be enough!

This first question was a replied from my main discussion post the professor asked me this: You make several good points, Nagibe, In your readings, did you run across anything that addressed the problems surrounding labor relations and/or unions in foreign markets? In my experience, this is a huge consideration; many U. S. corporations don’t research enough about this and get caught up in varying labor relations issues…not a good start. I’m curious what you (or anyone reading this) think(s)…

The second question is the following:

For this discussion, if you are presently employed try to relate the concept of “globalization” and how it has affected your company’s value chain (or some portion of that chain) from the point of manufacture to the point of delivery. For example, has globalization changed the way your company now promotes its products? Or, in the way it delivers products to the consumer internationally?

If you are not employed presently, perhaps you can apply this same idea to a company you worked for in the past or you can cite how your favorite company is impacted by globalization.
