Career Action Plan
This is essentially as goal setting process that can help clarify what your most exciting/satisfying future looks like. Once you know this, you can turn it into a plan that converts these aspirations into clearly defined goals and encourages you to invest the necessary time and energy to make them a reality. Psychology has long recognized that you move towards what you vividly and repeatedly see in your mind’s eye. It is origin of the old saying; be careful what you wish for, because you might just get it.
It might not be so easy if you have not yet developed your life goals, and many people in their teens and twenties have not. Completing this assignment and the other activities in this course is a good start.
Any plans you make now are not ‘set in stone’ – such plans usually evolve over time as you gain experience and close-in on what you really want. It might be helpful to discuss your ideas with a sympathetic adviser. It might also be wise to avoid discussing your plans with people who are likely to be negative, since we are particularly vulnerable to negativity during this process.
MyFuture is a great resource in helping with this whole process.

Career action plan

Specific plan, complete with actionable items and timeframes.
Stage 1: Preliminary Analysis
Write up to 100 words to answer these questions:
What would be my ideal future career(s)?
There can be multiple possibilities. The question is really ‘What would I do if I knew I could not fail?’ Do not limit your ideas; these are ‘blue sky’ possibilities where anything is possible. What can be imagined can be achieved through investment of time and energy.
If I know I will not fail, I will make the world’s fastest car which everyone can afford, with the best material I can use for a cheaper price and the best quality and with all the great functionality which satisfies all the need of a driver with all the safety features.
I work as a part time car dealer apart from my IT career and I am very hard working I would love to built such a thing that everyone remembers me for good, I would love to be a millionaire not for the sake of money but for a brand name in the market.
With all my hard work and time investment I would love to achieve my goal.
What skills, qualifications and experience would I need to make this a reality?
List the broad employability skill-sets you would need to go down this path, for example to become a roboticist, you would need a Bachelor’s (at a minimum) or Master’s degree (or higher) majoring in AI, an internship in the right environment, the willingness to live wherever the jobs are, have the willingness to put in a lot of hard work etcetera.
I would need Bachelor’s Degree and Automotive training and lots of patients and hard work to achieve my Goal.
Good communication skills, initiative and precise and self Management skills will help me to fulfill my dreams.
I have the willingness to put in the hard work and I never give up.
What employability skills do I already have, and what skills will I need to develop?
This is a gap analysis where you review what you already have, and determine what you will need to get that you do not already have.
Skills I have:
· Hard work
· Confidence
· Problem Solving
· Self Management
· Team Work
Skills I will need:
· Communication
· Initiative and enterprise
· Planning and organizing
What have I achieved so far?
You may not think you have achieved much thus far (no Nobel prize yet), but give yourself credit for what you have You have made it this far in life, and that is an achievement. This exercise is about acknowledging the many things for which you deserve credit.
In the Age of 21 I was able to Register my Own company.
I took the initiative to achieve a Dealer’s License.
I have worked really hard day and night to pay for my Bachelor’s
And this is my last year and I am this close to Make it for the big day (Graduation).
