chemical equlibriam question
Methanol, CH3OH, is manufactured industrially by the reaction:
CO (g) + H2 (g) <—> 10 CH3OH (g)
a. A gaseous mixture of 500 K is 0.020 M CH3OH, 0.10 M CO and 0.10 M H2. What will be the direction of the reaction if this mixture goes to equilibrium? The equilibrium constant Kc is 10.5 at 500 K.
